Applying for JSB for first time after company went bust

Company I worked at has gone into liquidation. I have a PSC card and verified MyGovID.

The liquidator will process redundancy payment (to be paid by State) but that will not be received until January, probably.

If I try to apply for JSB online it asks how much redundancy I have received and won't accept 0 (as I haven't got anything yet) - if I put in the approx. amount I will get it wants a letter from my employer stating I have received this, which I haven't.

In this case should I just apply in person at the Intreo office and explain the situation, doing it online doesn't seem satisfactory here.

One more thing, I'm married and my wife is working full time and claiming no form of welfare, form UP1 says if I do not wish to claim for a spouse etc. I don't need to list their details - as I don't need any payment etc for her does that mean I leave her details off? Not really sure what 'claiming for' means in this context.

for jsb its not means tested so you shouldnt need her payslips etc if not claiming for her.
They will want confirmation of the redendancy amount tho.

When it comes to jsa tho her wages will be means tested against but thats 9 months down the road
