Which laptop for student starting college

Hi My daughter is looking at getting a laptop for college next year. It'll be mainly used for word docs and emails with a bit of surfing as well. Nothing major. I was looking at these two. Keep away from the Lidl one. Only 32GB storage, couple of Windows 10 updates and it will be full.

The processor in the refurb is a bit slow but still ok.
