It’s time for the annual blitz tomorrow. Hopefully get in and get everything done in a couple of hours.

Can anyone recommend a shopping centre that might not be too hectic? Preferably not Dublin but close enough that I’m not driving for hours!

Blanch has everything between itself and the retail park. Not mental during the morning. Usually...

All eyes on Kursk. Slava Ukraini.

Donaghmede Shopping Centre. Pop into the Donaghmede Inn for a well deserved drink with the family after a long but rewarding day checking out the shops.

I’m actually living in Navan but the shopping centre is a bit grim.

Thanks for all the suggestions above! Might try get to blanch for 9am

No it's not. It's like Blanchardstown without the ability to shelter from the rain. Or have anywhere to eat.

    Not worth the trip.

Blanchardstown is handy once your there.
There's a great range of shops in the center and retail park.
The shops are also a good size there compared to other places where a lot of stock isn't stocked.

Yeah, until it's time to get out again and you're still in the car park an hour later :pac:

When I went there I was there until after nine and the traffic was fine coming out!

I'm 10 minutes drive from the centre but I avoid the entire area until January because of the traffic. Perhaps a Tuesday morning might be feasible. Otherwise, I tend to head to Liffey Valley or even Dundrum - better traffic management and I like Marks and Spencer. The M&S in Blanch is very small compared to LV or Dundrum.

    Great shout there.

If you've the patience then head another 30 mins up the road to Newry and make a huge saving in the Buttercrane Shopping Centre with The Quays Centre next door on the sterling.

I went to blanch in the end. 9am - 12pm wasn’t too bad, although it was fairly sad seeing people queuing outside Harvey Normans for a sale.

    12pm - 2pm, started getting a little chaotic.

After 2pm, it was time to go. Queues were getting very long. People bumping into me everywhere. Pure chaos.

Did I mention I hate shopping? Thankfully got a fair bit done but one more trip is needed

It's only December 1st ffs. Just leave it all until the last minute like a normal person.
