Anybody know when i9 processors will be more widespread on laptops. Currently most laptops that are around the €1500 mark our i7 laptops.

the dell precision is probably the cheapest laptop with the i9 h cpu. sale price currently marked down to €2,100 EX-VAT so unless you're buying it through a company - over 2,500

with the chip alone costing nearly $600 it will be a long time before this cpu comes into sub €2,000 laptops.

Also why such a big jump in price when going from 16 to 32GB RAM in a laptop?

Cheaper to buy the extra ram yourself if you need it.

32gb option is usually the highest end option with all the other highest options with it
