Applied for fis on the 27 September 2018 , got a letter saying that my application is rejected , I appealed it next day and 2 weeks ago I got a letter from Dublin saying my appeal is successful and all the paper work be sent to longford , ringing fis every second day and getting nowhere , they keep saying it will be another while , question is will they back date 60 weeks of payments ?

your appeal was sucessful so they will now look at your applications again, it doesnt mean its been approved again jsut that youve been able to appeal the decision to reject. They may ask forup to date payslips etc before amking a decision. I would assume they would backdate if they deem you eligible
