Getting tired of Vodafone, thinking of 3

Had much fun with Vodafone this week.
Data counter stuck on app and didn't expire leading to messing to get credit back as used for data

How much slower is three compared to Vodafone?

I do a lot of cloud uploading of pictures and videos and don't want time be left with them taking forever and then eating my battery

Half tempted to get a sim without moving number and divert calls

Why not port to Three prepay (or GoMo) and then simply port back if the data speed is not to your satisfaction?

I'm on old student deal (20,15gb I think of data, any network texts, keep credit, can use 15 for unlimited calls or just 20 on services, apps etc) I got via cold call to come back to Vodafone

    Sorry should I have said

GoMo is by far the cheapest and the service is absolutely fine

Am on the same deal here and it cleared out my balance. Bought an add on but still cleared. App showing data. Have raised complaints to VF but utter waste of time waiting 2 days for a reply on twitter and get someone with very broken English

I got fobbed off on live chat, oh you used the data though luck

Rang customer care, got a call back from a English speaker who refunded me and bought the 5gb for 15 add on for me

Was waiting on my deal to elapse and then got credit for bank holiday so was waiting to buy the addon

On break in Galway and went into shop last night and told me they're updating the system and woke up to data etc back to normal

Keep at them, I said what happened to you could easily happen to people, like I turned off data but most wouldn't think to do it

Speeds are crap and don't get me started on customer care

I got a sim to try out a deal few months ago, short story they couldn't transfer my number

Maybe you're confusing Gomo with another operator. It wasn't around a few months ago.

They're aka Eir so I'm guessing it'll get the "benefits" that brings

    Shame as some deal

    Eir who run Gomo

If you're paying for the full Eir service and its crap, imagine when you pay a tenner

My experience was a flawless setup with Gomo and excellent coverage and speeds. I'd expected that as I've used the Meteor/Eir network for data for many years without a problem.
