Any recommendations for the stick-type foam roller for an 18 yr old GAA player - decent quality without being mad money please?

If you can get a piece of 2" or 4" waste water pipe, it will do the exact same job for very little outlay.
If you find it a bit to "severe" wrap a towel around it..

I picked one up in Lidl a few years ago, it does the job fine. A rolling pin will do the job also of course, it's the pressure that's applied that makes the difference ;)

Yes - but as a Christmas present, I'd like to give something that looks a bit 'fancier' than a water pipe/rolling pin!

Well if that's the case, you migh be better of getting them something that they'll actually use ;):)

Thanks - as it was his own suggestion (having seen a team-mate use one, as opposed to the usual one he has already ) I'd imagine he will use it.
