W licence question

Afternoon viewers ,I have a unusual question regarding the "W Licence" category you can find on the back of your licenses. I have a nephew who obtained this (he's 16) and completed his theory test for it and has a learner permit for it. Now what are the ranges it covers? I have emailed the NDLS myself and they just tell me it covers tractors/work vehicles but they don't go really into depth with the work vehicles range.. He works on my yard and I know it covers the tractor and have him driving it ,but I want to see him on other vehicles but he needs to wait a year till he can get his B provisional and test to drive the likes of a car ,van ,etc. It says on the NDLS site that the W licence is a land tractor/work vehicle licence but what does the work vehicle part cover?? Like surely can't mean I get him driving the work jeep with it ,bit of a grey area but only curious to know ,thanks again for reading ,love to hear what people have to say.

Work vehicles would refer to teleporters/shovels that sort of thing

It says that work vehicles can range from tractors , forklift trucks ,telescopic handlers ,or LGV's ,and isn't a jeep a LGV?

I think they mean something like the gator things used round farms, definitely not a jeep.
