Just built a new house and during the construction we brought a 44mm pipe from outside into the hearth of chimney breast Incase we wanted to fit a stove. Now we have decided to do so and although I don’t have a mechanical heat recovery system the house is pretty airtight so instead of drilling a vent in the wall I was going to install an external air 5KW freestanding stove. My question is to do with the size of the pipe Iv brought in and will I be able to connect this to the stove as Iv been shopping for a stove and most have an external air kit of 100mm connection
