    Hi,

We live in Drimnagh where major works to the supply has taken place. On numerous occasions our supply water was brown with sediment after each day of works, we let it run through and carried on as normal. However, we have been experiencing some issues with attic tank taking too long to fill, same with our hot water tank and have had many airlock caused by tanks not refilling. This has been caused by sediment in the system. Will Irish water supply a plumber to remove the sediment that is causing these issues?

    Sorry to hear this.

Irish Water is responsible for the public water network and as such private matters would fall outside of our remit to resolve. As you are experiencing disruptions internally within your property, we would recommend that you contact a qualified plumber to investigate and conduct repairs.

    Kind regards,
    Niamh
