Do holes in upvc window frames impair insulation?

If I screw blinds into upvc window frames, will the insulation be affected? I know the windows themselves contain argon - do the frames contain something similar that would leak out?

I'd avoid it if possible as I believe it voids the warranty. You can get end brackets that you fix onto the wall and support brackets that fix up into the lintel for longer Venetian blinds.
