Hello. There is a mouldy taste from our water. We have had tests but are currently waiting for the results.

Is this acceptable to have this quality or should the water be of drinking standard?

Mine stinks of chlorine, there's no way it's safe for drinking

Thanks Niamh, I checked this out. I live in Drogheda and the water quality has been the same for over 3 years now. I'm happy to use water for washing etc, but would never drink water that smells like chemicals.

    You are very welcome.

If you would like us to investigate this on your behalf, please PM us and a member of the team will help. Alternatively, if you would prefer, you can call us on 1850 278 278 and we can get this checked for you.

You can also try filling a jug with water, covering it and storing it in the fridge overnight which should help reduce the taste. More information on common taste disruptions to supply can be found here.

    Kind regards,
    Niamh
