I'd be surprised if both of them run looking at the betting. Looks like they are expecting abracadabras to come out.

With 9 jp runners drenching the field in troytown looks like a gamble being lined up maybe tower bridge

Just seeing the odds now, what odds does Fury Road go when Abra is pulled? 1/8?

Nailed on to place i would say as he should race prominently and avoid any carnage but big irish handicaps bring out the best in jps horses.

Against that lot at least that. And if you take the 2/5 now will be getting about 2/9 which frankly will be like finding it in the road.
That being said no sign of him coming out yet. Be great if they actually did run them both.

Oisin Murphy wins the Japan Cup, easily the biggest prize of his career. Very shrewd lad.

    https://www.racingpost.com/news/international/oisin-murphy-secures-japan-cup-glory-with-suave-richard/410744
Murphy believed headgear might make his new mount run faster. When the rail-running duo swept past Curren Bouquetd'or just before the 200-metre pole, it was obvious Murphy had been right.

"Suave Richard is a top-class horse and the trainer did a great job," said Murphy.

"They were very confident but it was my idea to put cheekpieces on him. I said to the Racing Post beforehand that he galloped brilliantly in them, so it made sense to keep them on. His last few starts weren't fantastic but I knew he had a great chance and everything went right in the run. I had a plan and, thankfully, it came off.

Will take a chance on Mr Diablo in the troytown.
Was 2nd last year. 3lbs higher today but wont mind the conditions and with 6 places 40's seems generous

Backing Fitzhenry in the Troytown, Paul Nolan has had a good season so far and it could be his turn.

I think it is a shocking state of affairs to see a 1/25 winner of one our grade 2 novice hurdles.... The industry needs to have a serious look at itself. 4 runners is not good for a novice hurdle, the lack of ambition out there is not good, at all.

I think the same can be said for the 2 graded chases in England yesterday. 3 horse and 4 horse races are a farce.

I would be pouring all the big money into big handicaps, that looks like the only way to sort it out. 3 or 4 big trainers does not an industry make.
