Tax on Christmas Bonus

Hi all

I was hoping someone can help!

I have been told by my employer that I will receive an €800 christmas bonus at the end of this month which I understand will be subject to tax.

Can someone please tell me how much I should expect to receive? Salary is €34000 per year and I receive €2357 per month (less healthcare contribution so the amount I actually receive is €2305)

non scientific answer..about half.
Can you not get some paid in the likes of one4all vouchers.
You can get 500 euro tax free in those or similar afaik

Standard rate cut off point is 35,300 for 2019 so you should recieve approximately 70% of it as net.
