I'm going to DIY the main bathroom about this company has some good deals. Anyone buy off them? Just a bit wary of buying bathroom furniture online incase it looks cheap in reality.

Bought a sink and tap. Tap arrived and the sink thereafter. Sink in bits in a cardboard box. No protection, no padding, just the sink in a loose cardboard box. Rang, went through dial 1,2,3. Sent photos of the broken sink.

New ceramic sink would be properly wrapped for being chucked from van to van

New sink dispatched and arrived 2 weeks later. It too was broken. Dialed 1,2,3 and sent more photos.

Offer to refund or send another sink. I'd already plumbed for this sink so opted for replacement after insisting on and getting to talk to a manager. She was apologetic and assured personal intervention.

Sink arrived 2 weeks later, in a cardboard box without any protection and naturally, smashed to bits.

Got a refund but never again. Slow to act and ship replacements and seemingly unable to get a simple thing right.

Literally got a sink and tap delivered last week, installed all today and everything work ms perfectly,

Your right though the sink was in a cardboard box with no protection, luckily there was nothing wrong with it

I bought a toilet/sink vanity unit on eBay before. Part of the 'Global Shipping' thing. Yer man sent the unit to ebay, who stripped off all the protective stuff to make it fit in a smaller box, and then shipped it to me.

Arrived in many, many more pieces than it should have.

I ended up going to my local DPL (Dublin Providers) in Drogheda. Got a similar set to the ebay one for only about €30 more and it was delivered to my door by them, and without even a minor issue.

Reason I bought on ebay was because it was much much cheaper than anywhere else (I hadn't checked DPL at the time). DPL being only €30 more expensive made them very competitive, too.

So my advice OP, if you have a DPL nearby, is to give them a shout.

Thanks. Ordered stuff for the bathroom, hope they have improved their shipping practices and stuff arrives in good condition.

I used them about 2 years ago for a pile of stuff as part of full renno (bath, shower doors, shower units, 2x vanity +sink, taps, 2xtoilets)
Had absolutely no issues (apart from some messing at the time of ordering to do with me wanting to change the order) .
Once the order was in everything arrived when it was due and in one piece (Everything I got was pvc). Delivery guys and the van/truck thing were from the north.

    BUT.....
Since then I've heard some bad stories. I think I might have replied on another thread on here about them. So maybe i got lucky or they have gone downhill since i ordered.
