    Hi,

I have an old manual 16 amp timer for controling my boiler, i want to change this to a more modern system so I can turn/off the heating from an app.

is there something out there that will do this, anything I have seen is rated at much lower amps.

    thanks in advance

Unless you have something extraordinary on that timer, it doesn't need to be anywhere near 16A.

Probably previous owner had an immersion timer knocking around and used that even though it was overkill
