    Polly Douglas 16/1 5.15 Dundalk

Won this race last year from 4lbs higher. Also has a 10lb claimer onboard who won on Geological on weds and is 3 from 16 at the track so knows where the finishing line is.
Drawn out in the carpark but might not be such an inconvenience for a hold up horse but will need the gaps to appear.
At the odds worth an ew nibble

This is the only one that's interesting me but the jockey is putting me off. Her 3 wins have been steering jobs on Geological.

On the phone, but fancy Leoncavallo today, should be well handicapped and has conditions to suit.

Nice Novice Chase here in first in ascot. Looking forward to seeing how Angels Breath handles his fences. Looks every bit a chaser. Seen him in the flesh last season in Aintree. He is some looker.

He got to about the 6th last and I was thinking to myself that this is as good a round of jumping from a first time out novice I'd seen this year he then proceeding to plough through that one the next one and then the 3rd last. Not horrendous mistakes but one's you'd hope he will learn from.

Either way was a quality performance.

Seems a WhatsApp voice message has hammered Patchouli in from 25/1 to 7/2 in the 6.15 Dundalk, be interesting to see how he runs.

On Royal Admiral myself in that race at 14s.

I was actually reading about that on twitter. You'd leave him off at the current price and tbh there is no way he doesn't drift some bit on the machine. Way too short now.

A recurring pattern in that kip.

Looking at that race now and I actually think Fenton's horse, Kingdom Brunel, is a right price at 25s.
Mark should be no issue and will be fit after decent runs in maiden hurdles. Trip the main concern.

Polly Douglas and Kens Sam were the 2 that were in my tracker.
Dithered over the latter when it was 10/1 last night. It's 4s now so I'll let it go.

I'd say the lad who sent the screenshot may have cashed out his €600 (if the screenshot isn't photoshopped) when it went into 3/1.

Who'd he get €600 on with and at what price?

If he got 600 on a night before market he must be losing his absolute bollocks.

I am having an ew bet on Phoenix Open in the 8.15. it looks like they must have pulled the neck off the poor thing his last two runs. As soon as they look like they haven't a chance you need to be getting on. Keane back on tonight. If it is not tonight it will be happening soon enough.

Backing Royal Admiral now too Gavin , plus because it’s Friday I’m going to go mental and back Gary Carroll’s ride too . Both well weighted in terms of Latchet

This yoke is gonna go off 7/2 and he about 10.5 on the machine.

    Dirty rotten non trier

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 704 ✭✭✭BoldReason

I'd hardly call him a non trier how he was that price is all a matter horse showed nothing to say he could be competitive in a race like this off his mark. Not good enough.

3rd last of 14, most bookies don't pay out on that.

Good shout, undone by a Keane masterclass of a ride.

Was in a bookies and saw him drift from around 3s out to 8s and then straight down to 3s again. All in the space of a few minutes. And all the time i could see he was at least 10s on the exchanges. Some bullchit going on there whatever it is.

I'd imagine 8s was the price he should have returned but there was probably a bit of manipulation with the off course books to the on course ones as there was probably a decent chunk of mug bets done during the day at less than 5/1 with BOG and they didn't want to have to pay out at anything like 8/1 on all of those.

Actually thought Joseph's would be near on favorite for this next race.
Have to back him at 7/1.

Royal Admiral 3rd, happy to take that ew with an SP of 16/1. Drifted as big as 20s pre-race.
