I have a flight today landing at about 5pm. My next flight is at 8 or so. Flight in is from teh EU and flight out is to Ireland. Both flights are with Ryanair. Does anyone know if i have to go back through security?

You will have to go out and come back through security, Ryanair sells its tickets as point to point. Give plenty of time for it, T3 security can be slow and there are some of the most stick-up-their-arse twits in the NW working there.

I nearly missed a flight there, non EU fight in and then a connecting flight for Dublin.
I had about 1hr 30 mins, getting through security was as slow as snails, massive queues and the most retarded people given a load in front of me had stuff they shouldn't have...not just a few but when in a hurry you take extra notice, it was like 75% of people..
I ended up having to sprint away from security when I eventually got through, and the plane was already boarding, people out on the tarmac...barely made it in time.
Normally I am the epitome of calm, that airport caused stress...was sure I was going to miss my flight.

Sounds about right. I always get Fast Track if I'm travelling without my kids and leave extra time if they are with me.

As soon as i was sure i couldn't get through as a flight transfer i purchased fast track. I was through passport control and back through security in 15 minutes.
