Found a pool of water around the spare tyre of the boot last Friday brought to mechanic he took out the rubber seal and the water drained out. Have dried out the boot as much as I can. Brought back to mechanic today however it is lashing rain so he said he needs a dry day to put a hose in the boot to see where leak is coming from. I want to book my NCT, if this is not resolved prior to that will I fail the NCT?

    Thanks for reading

No you won't fail the nct. It is probably the seal around the rear lamps where the water is getting in.
