    Currect pc specs:
    Gpu: Nvidia GeForce 660Ti 2gb
    Cpu: Intel Xeon E3 1230 V3 @ 3.30GHz
    Ram: 8Gt Dual Channel DDR3 @ 799MHz
    Board: ASRock B85 Pro4
    HDD: 1TB Seagate

Cant remember the power supply from the top of my head (550w?)

Im thinking about upgrading my Gpu to a Nvidia GeForce 1050Ti 4gb since im heavily bottlenecked on the gpu side and i'd get the 1050Ti for cheap from my friend.
I read on the interwebs that my Cpu works best with 16gb of ram. Should i buy 8gb more ram or could i get away with just buying a 256gb SSD ?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

SSD's are pretty cheap, you can get a 240gb for 24 pounds on amazon.

How cheap is that 1050 Ti? I wouldn't pay more than €85 for one.

Agree with above - SSD is a better upgrade than RAM.
    FYI a 480Gb is better value than 240Gb (83p/Gb vs 98p/Gb)
