External Render

    Hi

I have rising damp on an internal wall due to some external render falling off on the outside wall just above the ground. Its not a large patch, maybe 1 square foot max. Was wondering if anyone can recommend a premixed waterproof render. Not a DIY expert by any means so apologies if its a stupid question. Any advice appreciated.

    Thanks
    Eos

Chip all the loose away. Remove any chipped paint or loose concrete. Polybond the hole and just around. Then use a simple sand cement render mix on it leave to dry for few weeks then repaint.

I presume it's a sand cement render and not an acrylic finish?
