What is the best area/town in Kilkenny to live in? For a family e.g. peimary school, quality of life and value of money.
Hard to get a place to rent? Expensive?

Kilkenny is privileged to have excellent primary and secondary schools at all sides of the city.
Gaelscoil, KSP, De La Salle and John of Gods are all located in or around the Village. St Canice’s is in the Bora. St John’s is in O’Loughlins.
Houses are hard to find regardless of which side of the city that you choose.

Kilkenny city is an expensive place to live, no .,doubt, but it's a very desirable place to live in. Rents are dear and rising and the market is poorly stocked.

Callan/Castlecomer/Kells would be fine places to live but if you can afford it, go for the city
