Some Simple Calculations

I created a quick spreadsheet for my own reference just to answer some questions like "how long do I have to charge for to get an extra 10km" etc.
It might be of interest to some others.

Feel free to add extra columns with your own car (mines a leaf 24kWhr/ 3.3 kW) or suggest other relevant calcs.

The calcs at the moment are
    • Typical Range 90% to 10% [km]
    • Cost per 100km [€]
    • Range increase per hour charge [km]
    • Time required for 10km range [h:mm]
    • Time required for full charge [h:mm]

Handy as a rough guide, though you'll not get 50kW/h, it'll be more like 46kW/h, and that charging rate won't be constant, especially at the upper range of your battery SOC.

Handy all the same though. Any time i'm awaiting the fast charger cable I tend to sit in my car calculating how much range I could of got had I plugged into the AC charger when I arrived.
