hello,I am writing as I am unsure of something.my health is the reason I applied for disability allowance earlier this year.i was initially refused this but I appealed and eventually I received a letter to attend an oral hearing last month.i attended this and last week I received a letter stating my appeal is allowed.i am currently on JSA and after getting this letter what does it mean? do I await a letter from disability allowance section in longford? I am just not sure what happens next.thank you.

You will receive a letter from Disability telling you your new payment arrangements and effective date .

You won your appeal and got DA granted. You will receive details and payments shortly.
    Congrats!

I was awarded D/A also a few weeks ago I'd to wait 2 weeks for my payment to come through,I'd be on JA before that and when I went to the post office I'd no JA I'd to go to the CWO and get an emergency cheque apparently it should have been sorted that JA could still be collected up to the time my D/A went into my account so just ring social and verify it is all in place .

How did your oral hearing go? I have mine this week and I'm very nervous I suffer with depression and very bad anxiety I'm even losing sleep thinking about it, what kind of questions did they ask? Any advice really appreciated
