Appointing an agent to collect social welfare payment

    Hi,

    I have applied for Disability Allowance and am currently in receipt of Supplementary Welfare Allowance while I await a decision. I collect my payment from the post office, and I'm wondering would it be possible to appoint an agent to collect my payment (my husband)? I have the agent form, but I'm not sure if I can appoint an agent with Supplementary Welfare Allowance - the form mentions many schemes on the back that you can do this for, but not Supplementary. Does anyone have any advice with this? Thanks.
