My Car is due an NCT in march next year and there is a Waring light for the rear parking sensor. would this orange light cause a fail in the NCT. i took the car to the garage and they replaced the sensor however when they did its showed up another fault re cabling? Mechanic said its a broken cable and no idea the time involve in tracing it. So i was wondering do i have to get it fixed, would it pass the NCT with this fault showing?
    Any advice would be appreciated,

You can leave it as is, parking sensors are not tested.

You'll be grand. They're not tested.

This is the manual the tester must follow, in case you have further questions

You'll pass that item but It's due in 5 months, would it not be better to get it fixed?
