Balancing radiators

    Some of the online videos and tutorials about this state that there has to be a difference of 12 degrees between the two pipes of the radiators.
    Why 12 degrees and not some other temperature?

    Am not familiar with such a number.
    .
    It has to do with rad design which goes as follows, am using a delta T of ten as its easier..
    flow: 85
    return 75
    Ave mean temp of the rad: 80

    Room temp required: 20
    Delta T is 80 minus 20 = 60 so you go to the catalogue... see attached.

    The importance of the absolute temperatures is obvious
