Transfer Oil from one tank to another...

Hey all,

Our neighbour recently put in 500l of oil into their oil tank. The whole system gave way and now they have moved over to gas system. He offered me the oil for 200e but no idea of how to get oil out and into mine!!!

They live on the other side of the road directly across from us. Any way about doing this that might be someway easy?!

Turn valve at bottom of tank off, disconnect filter, open valve again decant into 25l jerry cans. Repeat.

The above are much too messy. Contact a guy who installs new tanks. He will have an empty tank on his truck and very quickly transfer the oil to his tank and then to the tank across the road - no mess.

as james said above with the correct gear about an hours job or less

just to add 500lts for 200 eu 40c ltr

cost to transfer it may not add up

It's not impossible to carry 25ltr drums X 20 times, cheaper than the gym.
