Connect HD to router and wireless issue

Have 2 issues and not sure if there’s an easy solution

    1. I have an external HD which I want to put on my home network. However my router only has Ethernet ports. Is there any way to connect the 2 to allow the HD to be accessed on the network? Using a Virgin Media Hub 3.0

    2. Have a smart TV but doesn’t have WiFi. I’ll be moving the TV into another room away from the router. What’s the easiest way to allow me to connect it to the network? Would I need a WiFi booster?

    Cheers.
