Just energy to flo gas

    Hi, just got an email saying that just energy are moving me to flo gas in December, bonkers.ie tells me that flo gas is cheapest for me and there's a 200 euro cash back deal, if I wait till December will I get the cash back? Should I move now instead

    If you're out of contract, move now. You don't know what plan you will be automatically put on in December if you leave it to them.

    Yeah I think I will, I'm with them since I got the car so at least 20 months

    Generally you're best off moving every 12 months. EV might play against that a bit though - cash back deals are less fruitful given the higher consumption.

    Always change the day your contract runs out. Don't even bother ringing up your current supplier to see if they can match the best deal out there. Because they won't.
    GEV might play against that a bit though - cash back deals are less fruitful given the higher consumption.

    It's fairly easy to do a break even analysis, comparing the various cash back and non cash back deals, but you need to be fairly aware of your total annual consumption and your split between day and night rate use.
