Can someone explain why my grant boiler won’t come on unless the reset button on the stat is reset ?

It's overheating, perhaps sludge or air in the boiler, or even circulating pump starting to give trouble or boiler stat not working. Try turning down the boiler stat about 5 degrees.
    What it it at now?

A pic of the boiler might also highlight some problems.
If it was serviced recently were there any problems highlighted?

So the thermostat was changed and now set at 75°c , new baffles were replaced and installed
It worked for a while we just got a new oil fill and we’re back to the same problem.
The plumber says he can’t come out until beginning of January wtf

turn the stat down to about 70 and see if this solves your problem

This.or turn down even more. Probably no over run on pump and temperature in boiler overheats when system times out.
