I am awaiting my silage test results, cut the end of May so I am hoping it should be good, what figure should I be respecting it to be? My cattle are all continental crosses from British freisian cows,I feed all of them 2 kg of a 14 percent ration but I now have a beet chopper so going using beet this year, if I fed my cattle 9 kgs of beet a day and 2kgs of ration and my silage came back 71 or 72 dmd what weight should I exspect a day in these cattle?
