This update was officially released from Microsoft on Tuesday. Did anyone get this yet via Windows Update?

It is a very small update for anyone to install on their device. It is the same size as a monthly update.

It won't require people to reinstall the whole OS unlike previous ones if you already have 1903. You need to have 1903 on your computer to install 1909. Older version numbers of Windows 10 will still require full re-installs of the OS up to version 1903 & then one further small update afterwards to 1909.

There are some new features in it provided in the Settings app which changes the display of the notification panels on the right hand side.

There is more information on what features are provided here.

How are you finding this update yourself? Any problems so far?

I got it the other day after manually checking for updates (apparently Microsoft calls people who do that “seekers”).

Installation was remarkably quick - you can tell it’s a small update. Didn’t notice any major differences visually
