    Your thread title is even more misleading than most claims in that video :pac:

    Some interesting figures though. The Tesla being towed at a constant 30km/h in D with its stronger level of regen switched on but no braking (this is not particularly strong regen though, Ioniq can do significantly more) and it generates 1kWh/km (doing a km in 2 minutes)

    Do this for just 10 minutes, you will have gained 5kWh and with normal driving that will give you a range of about 40km range in an efficient EV like the Model 3 or Ioniq. This could well be plenty so you can drive to the next fast charger or to your destination

    Beats a flat bed truck any day. You just need to find a local redneck with a pick up truck when you run out of battery next :p

    Personally I'm going for an eJerrycan solution: 0.7kWh lithium battery pack (€100 shipped), 1kW continous pure sine wave inverter (€80 shipped), a few connectors, fuses and cables and the granny cable that comes with the car for a €200 solution that should give me about 3km range 1C charging for 20 minutes at the lowest possible setting of granny cable charging of my car of 860W (inverter and battery can't handle much more without risking their lifespan)
