Virgin to SIRO/etc migration: Will they reuse existing wall sockets & cables?

    Hi All,

I'm planning to build a media wall in the living room and it'd be much simpler to design it in a way that only the coax cable would remain accessible and no one would ever have access to the Virgin wall socket again. I do plan to switch to SIRO in the future though.

When switching providers, does the new provider install new wall sockets, new cabling in walls and new connection box on the side of the house? ...or they simply reuse the existing Virgin ones?

    Thank you.

It'll be all new cables and sockets. Just run an ethernet network cable to your media wall and keep the VM/Siro routers separate.

Thank you. Will keep this in mind then.
