Tanks - Air To Water Heat Inverter

    Hi.

We've a Panasonic Air to Water heat inverter system in our new build house.  On the photo below there are two tanks with two dials on top that turn.  I'm not sure if the dials were fiddled with but the heat is not coming on even when on timer and the bar pressure on the dial at the bottom of the photo is reading almost zero for one of the hands on the gauge and the red hand is reading 6 bar. Previously I recall the bar pressure on the black hand currently at zero as reading approximately 2 bar.

There is now a humming vibration also coming from the pump that wasn't there before.

Does anybody know these systems - what are the dials on the tanks controlling?  What bar pressure should they be reading?

They are expansion vessels the caps on top are covers for the Schrader valves.

The white vessel is for DHW expansion and the red is for expansion on the space heating circuit.

The gauge shows the pressure in the heating circuit at 0, normally filled to 1 bar when cold and will rise when water is heated, looks like there’s a leak on the system and the noise it the pump running dry.. probably should call the installer

@ShanE90 thanks. Know anybody in Cork city could come out tomorrow to have a look at it?
