Depends on where the noise comes from but yeah, try silicone spray in the window channels in the door.

Oh b0ll0x. I put silicone in top, front and rear. But also put it at ‘bottom’ so sprayed down to where window comes up from.....and where motor is I think. Works fine after it and squeak gone but could I be after damaging motor by doing this. Hands up, sp@nner

What could this potentially do? Mess up the motor? If it was to happen would it have happened already (8 hours later) or could it fester and happen in a few days etc?

The motor wouldn't be in where the regulator is so you're alright, even if you sprayed a lot down the most you would do would be getting it on the cabling/regulator.
