    Hi there
I have a Lowara Hydrovar pump on my cold water tank in the shed. It makes all taps pressurised in the house bar the mains in the kitchen. The water supply here is pretty erratic with constant outages. The cold tank has run out before and I had to prime the pump to get it going again. Not this time ! The pump is working away but not pumping any water. ? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.Nothing but mains in the house at the moment so no toilets either!!

Would it be possible that you have an airlock on the supply to the pump?
For future, get a float switch installed into the tank and have it set to turn off the power to the pump if the water level drops to within 150mm of pump supply connection.
It will protect the pump and prevent future airlocks in the system.
