Exchanging Australian licence for Irish licence

    What does an Australian provisional 2 license equate to when exchanging for an Irish license given that to have a an Australian provisional 2 license you will have already completed your driving test.

    Tbh I’ve no idea about the technicalities of what you’re saying, it sounds like GDL (graduates driving licence)

    But the Australian exchange might only be restricted to Victoria. Best to contact the NDLS and ask about your specific case.

    The only difference with a victorian licence is that you must sign a declaration so that the victorian licencing authority will release your information. The other states dont require this. No idea what a provisional licence 2 means but a quick google seems to say that is the equivalent of driving on an N plate here. Give the NDLS a call and they can tell you for certain.

    Which state though? It says NSW P2s still need to complete a computerised rest.
