Canadian police check 2010 to 2012?

Hi all I m going for a job and working with children, I was in Canada maybe 8 years ago for 2 years before that. How can u get a police check for my time there?

Cheers, I checked and asked the embassy, most say I've to go through the police here to ask Irish police to request a check for my time in Canada from the Canadian police, but the Irish police are a bit lost and send me to different places. So I get different answers depending on what police I talk to.

Did you live in the one place whilst in Canada? Look for the nearest police station, and email them asking for a "police certificate".
