In an apartment which has a heat exchanger which is working for hot water from taps but is not heating rads. Control/thermostat appears to be working and connects back to main pcb of the heat exchanger. The exchanger has a electric motorised valve which when removed it provides hot water to the rads and stops hot water from taps. Motorised valve is held in place with a simple clip. Any ideas how to troubleshoot/resolve would be appreciated.. Thanks for reading.

Do you have a make / model identification of this heat exchanger?
    Is it a Gas Appliance?

Not Gas, electric. Hot water is pulled in from floor ring. Communal boiler in basement with raid configuration.
