I'd like to get an Android box or else an Apple TV box that is capable of running Now TV, I'm aware Apple runs now tv but can any Android boxes run Now TV please?

Not officially supported OP. Others may be able to say if the mobile app works on an Android TV box.

If your main concern is Now TV, there is the Now TV Smart Stick. The list price is €25 but you can get it for even cheaper bundled with a pass (eg with two months Sky Cinema is €40, making the price of the stick effectively just €10).
