Got a door call from Airtricity offering upgrade of my heating controls to replace my 3 motorised valves for water, zone1, zone 2 and timer clock with a climote system installed for free and after year one cost of €19 per year thereafter to climote for sim card. Do not need to move to SSE Airtricity. Sales person said they are collecting the SEAI grant and carbon ECO credits so can afford to provide for free

So my questions are

(1) Am I missing something ? - as this deal seems too good to be true. upgrade to a remote heating system for free

(2) Is the climote any good?

(3) Has anyone on here gone with the deal and what was their experience.
