    I'm 22 and I'm seriously considering a raised bed.

    My room is miniature.

I'm considering some sort of raised up bed because I intend to build/fit a reptile enclosure underneath.

    I'm considering something like this:
    https://www.wayfair.co.uk/children-nursery/pdp/symple-stuff-wybrone-european-single-mid-sleeper-bed-with-tower-syms2873.html

    I'm 5'7 and roughly 10 stone..
I'm living with my parents while back in college so needless to say I don't entertain any female friends in my bedroom!

Or maybe a taller full size loft bed, I'm not sure yet.

    What do you think?
    Are they practical/Worth the hassle?
    Any other alternatives/space saving ideas?

Perfectly good idea - if you search Pinterest for something like "student loft bed" you'll see tons of ideas:

I have recently purchased a high sleeper bunk bed and a mid sleeper bed both units are charcoal in colour and solid pine built by a company called "Vipack"

Vipack Pino mid sleeper Model: PIHSZG14

I purchased online from meubles in kilkenny
I recommend searching for a Vipack bed there very solid
I also used Evostick PVA wood glue on the dowels to eliminate movement which can begin a few weeks after assembly if wood glue isint used first time.
