I have an awkward shed to clean. 1000 sq ft. Low door. Although I may get in on a massey 135. What are my best options for an attachment scrapper/ shovel.

I see Honda has several motorised scrappers both walk behind and motorised. Are these worth it?

Should I stick to the shovel?

I’d have thought you’ll pick up a small scraper tractor for little more than a Honda style thing and it may have other uses about the place.

The shovel is fine if you have the time, there’s very few of us that don’t need the exercise if we’re being homest

I deffinetly inetly need the exercise. But time is the thing. Is there any particular tractor scraper better than the others. Do the rust?

There’s little on a farm that rusts like a scraper tractor 😔

We bought one new about 12 years ago, it is fully galvanised and there is no rust on it. I would be fairly good about power washing it every few weeks during the winter and always wash it for summer storage.

Does it have rubber on the base. Which brand?

I will take a picture of it tomorrow. It is a flip over type so you can go both directions.

We had a painter McKenna do 18years I think, scraped an awful lot of ****e in it's time, might have got washed once a year at best.
Have a galvanised Fleming for 3 years now. Rubber on it would be fairly soft, its nearly worn out, will have to get one with steel rope inside for the next rubber

You never said what you were trying to pull out of the shed.

If it's just slurry and slop, you can get a wheeled hand scraper.

Made a small scraper here that fits on a bale handler, you just reverse into it with bale handler to fit it. Has a rubber mat. Only can be used when reversing. Has been handy for cleaning yards, silage slab etc. Main advantage is no taking off bale handler to put it on.

    More or less.
