Hi its e7 per month, which I've been paying for the past 2 years. This morning the option to pay e69 plus tax for an annual subscription popped up.
What is the rate of tax does anyone know?
    Thanks
    D

Are you sure this is a bona fide offer from Microsoft? Vendors in the EU are obliged to give the VAT-inclusive price to consumers. "plus tax" is a very American concept.

    VAT at 23% would apply.

Are you sure you're on the IE website? Office 365 Personal is €69/year or €7/month (VAT included) in Ireland, but $69.99/year or $6.99/month (tax excluded) in the US.

If it's a business account though it's not unusual.

But they would say 'VAT' not 'tax'.

Think Libreoffice for android is just a viewer.

WPS Office works well on android, edit and save excel, word, PowerPoint files. Also has a windows version but Libreoffice on a PC will do the same.

Increasingly think that the e69 plus tax is just a mistake...
