So what now? My course needs like a H4 LOL I highly doubt I'm gonna get that now. I feel quite miserable to be honest

There's loads of time between now and June

I failed my actual mocks and brought it up to a c1(HL) in June.
You just need to get your head down and you'll be grand.

I failed my mock in HL maths (can't remember the exact percentage) and then I got a H3 in the real thing(almost a H2...79%. ! Lol)

Tbh, I didn't overdo myself with maths between the mocks and the real thing. The mocks in Maths are tough, just put in some study from now on. There is plenty of time until June!

It's very very very doable to get a H4. Don't be disheartened by the mock result!

    Terrible waste of time.
Have you the course finished in all subjects?

Not at all in any subject . We only barely started book 2 in maths

So what is the possible value in 'pre' mocks? Your teachers should be spending the time doing the course. The only mark that matters is the one in June.

Was this an actual full Leaving Cert or mock paper? Cause that's what mocks are, full length leaving cert papers that are sat a year early. Are these like Christmas exams, then? Either way, you have loads of time to improve, as long as you understand everything, you'd have no problem.

I mean, if you haven't finished the course and you're being assessed on stuff you haven't covered, you're of going to do nearly as well. 34% is to be expected from that.

get grinds or identify where you went around work hard and their still a possibility to get a h4 stick with higher level until your actually mock practise past paper look up maths tutor on google / youtube

This is a website I always tell my Leaving Cert grinds students to use. Don't let the silly title throw you off - It's a seriously good website.

The sections you'll need to focus on for your course are,

    https://www.mathsisfun.com/links/d-10up-numbers.html
    https://www.mathsisfun.com/algebra/index.html
    https://www.mathsisfun.com/geometry/index.html
    https://www.mathsisfun.com/calculus/index.html (Ignore Differential Equations)
    https://www.mathsisfun.com/data/index.html
    https://www.mathsisfun.com/money/index.html

Some of the material is not on the Leaving Cert at all so you'll have to check the index of your textbooks to make sure you're not covering anything you don't need to.

Hope this helps in some way. Best of Luck.
