Day out for Children

    Looking for a recommendation of some parents.

    We are taking a 3yo and 5yo out for the afternoon on Friday for 3yo's birthday, had planned to do the lights in the zoo but it's sold out. Any where around laois, Kildare, Kilkenny, Carlow, South Dublin where we could go for 2/3 hours Friday evening with them that they will enjoy?

    Kildare village has Christmas lights equivalent going on right now but i am not sure how good it is. You could also look at Kildare Farm Foods which has an assortment of animals for them to see and a little train.

    South Dublin i would recommend https://www.explorium.ie/they have a childrens part to it and its really good but you might want to book. Our eldest has autism and she loved it, our 3 year old who doesn't also loved it as there is allot to do for them.

    Normally what i also do for my girls birthdays is drop into build a bear(Dundrum town centre) and get them one to mark the occasion. Could be something you do on the friday, there are also lots of restaurants.
