Scrapping old car

    hi all,

    Looking to scrap my old car in south Dublin and just wondering if anyone knew of any authorized scrap yards that collected your car apart from Wilton Recycling in Naas? Also roughly what cost would I expect to pay for them having to collect it?

    Did you try putting it on done deal for small money first? Might save you a few bob even if someone is only taking it for parts

    Car is not starting and I need to get rid of it quick unfortunately otherwise I would have went down this route.

    Call Leon recycling in arklow, they'll tell you how much they'll give you for the car and organise a time to come pick it up. You give them the log book and you get your €€. Used them lots.

    If you want the car collected then most Authorised Vehicle end of life companies will collect for free, if you can get it to them you might get some money.
