Specialists/Tradesmen or Building Company?

    We are buying a semi detached 3 bed house (approx 90sq m) that will require some renovations;
    - Kitchen renovation (good quality oak kitchen, so we will keep the cabinets) - repainting doors, new counter tops, splashback, new sink and tap, new appliances.
    - All walls and ceilings painted
    - All floors done (laminate floor)

    We are trying to decide if it's better to hire several specialists/tradesmen for each job or it's better to hire a building company who specializes in renovations so they can take on the full project.

    Of course, we understand that hiring a company that can do all of the works will be less hassle but perhaps it will end up being more expensive and worse quality.

    I would appreciate if you can share your thoughts and experience. What would you do?

    Where in the country are you?

    its not that big of a job. No need for a builder there

    I think you might struggle to get a building company to take on such small scale work.

    Personally I would get,
    1 - kitchen company to do the kitchen.
    2 - Decorators to decorate.
    3 - Carpenter for flooring (kitchen company might look at this also)
